1. Who we are
This website is operated by ameide. When we refer to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean the entity responsible for processing your personal data as the data controller.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data in the following ways:
Contact form
When you submit the contact form on our website, we collect your first name, last name, work email address, company name, role, and the message you provide. This data is processed on the legal basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the checkbox on the form.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, session duration, and referral source. No data is sent to Google until you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Support chat
We provide live support chat via Chatwoot. The chat widget is treated as a necessary functional feature and loads without separate consent. If you initiate a conversation, the messages you send and any identity information provided are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing customer support.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to store your cookie consent preference and theme selection. Analytics cookies are only set after you provide consent via the cookie banner.
3. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries submitted via the contact form
- Understand how visitors use our website (with your consent)
- Provide customer support through the chat widget
- Improve our website and services
4. Data processors
We share your personal data with the following third-party processors, each operating under a data processing agreement:
- Twenty CRM — stores and manages contact form submissions
- Google Analytics — processes anonymised website usage data (only with your consent)
- Chatwoot — processes support chat conversations
5. International transfers
Some of our processors may transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
6. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain the business relationship, typically no longer than 24 months after last contact. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' default retention settings. Support chat history is retained for 12 months.
